Hollins University is a private liberal arts university located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Hollins nurtures civility, integrity, and concern for others, encourages and values diversity and social justice, and affirms the equal worth of women and men. We are proud of our culturally diverse student body, with students representing 38 states and territories as well as 22 countries.

Hollins offers the following degree programs:

  • Undergraduate level – 29 degrees – All female at undergraduate levelTop Majors: Art, Biology, Business, English, Psychology
  • Graduate level – 11 programs – CoedTop Majors: Creative Writing, Dance, Screenwriting, Film Studies/Playwriting

Scholarships:

  • At undergraduate level: International Friendship Grants guaranteed for at least $24,000 annually
  • At graduate level: Scholarships and teaching assistantships available
  • Graduate level – 11 programs – Coed

Our nationally-recognized study abroad program, guaranteed internship placements, and our Batten Leadership Institute all serve to further prepare our students to be global leaders in their future professions.
